BC Women’s Hospital

Currently, two adult support persons and one doula are permitted, as well as patients’ other children.

Patients and their support persons are screened at the designated entrances, which include hand cleaning stations, and are offered a medical mask.

OB Offices

OB offices are health care facilities and still require the wearing of medical masks.

Most visits remain in person, but virtual visits may be substituted where appropriate.

Policies regarding support persons vary and patients are asked to contact their OB’s office directly for more information.
